Dear Mr/Mrs!rnrnI am Máté Farkas from Hungary, a water well driller and hydrogeologist. rnrnI am contacting you because I am looking for a PDC bit which has the highest possible penetration rate, and it is able to drill in soft formations fast without plugging or bit balling, but at the same time it can drill harder formations as well. The majority of our country is a sedimentary basin, so we drill in soft overburden geological formations, like clay (hard clay of soft sticky gummy clay), silt, sand, rarely gravel. Sometimes there are a few meters of soft dolomite, limestone, marl or sandstone, it varies with area. rnrnIf I am correct, a Big Flush PDC bit could work very well in this geological setting. What would be your recommendation? Do you have data about ROP compared to other types of bits?rnrnI am looking forward to hearing from you.rnrnBest regards;rnMáté Farkas
